Rutabaga Scholarship Fund

We are on a mission to change the way families across Philadelphia think about and interact with toys. And while we want to reach as many families as possible, we know that the membership price can be a barrier.

The unfortunate truth is that in our current society, being eco-conscious often comes with a significant financial cost. We believe that to make an impact, we must work together to include all socio-economic levels and reduce the financial impact for families who want to live out these values.

Who will receive the scholarships?

We will review each application that comes in individually to determine if a scholarship will be rewarded. Scholarships can go to any family who submits an application. Families may receive a partial or full scholarship depending on the fund availability and determined need from the application.

The Rutabaga Scholarship Fund raises money to support families who are interested in pursuing a more eco-conscious life, rethinking how they interact with toys, and reducing waste, but cannot afford to do so. All Rutabaga members, community supporters, and friends are encouraged to donate to the scholarship fund and support other families in joining our family.
