Morning Sprouts Drop-Off Care

  • Rutabaga Toy Library (map)

Morning Sprouts is a drop-off program for children aged 1.5 to 3, giving caregivers the opportunity to enjoy a morning to themselves while their little ones explore, play, and learn in a safe and engaging environment.

Morning Sprouts is designed around child-guided play, allowing children to follow their interests as they explore our library’s wide selection of toys and engage in meaningful interactions with other children. Sessions will happen during open library hour and include a special activity—such as sensory play, music, or creative crafts along with storytime to spark curiosity and imagination.

A designated snack time is included to provide children a chance to recharge and connect with friends. Families are asked to provide their child's snack.

This program is a wonderful way to ease into drop-off time and build confidence before starting pre-K, all while fostering independence and a love for learning through play! Children must be potty trained (in pull-ups or underwear) to participate.
