December: Holiday Gift Wrapping

We will be creating beautiful, festive, handmade wrapping paper and learning sustainable methods to wrap more gifts at home.

Bring some gifts to wrap and we'll get started right away!

Rutabaga will provide all the materials needed and well as some cozy beverages

A eco craft expert will be there to teach you how to make your own beautiful and sustainable wrapping. This class is great fun for the whole family! Children of all ages are welcome to participate with their families.

About the Eco Workshop Series:

At Rutabaga Toy Library, we believe in the power of creativity and sustainability. Our Eco Workshop Series invites families to come together and craft beautiful, seasonal creations using natural and recycled materials. Each month, we'll explore a new eco-friendly project, from making vibrant citrus garlands and unique wreaths from found items to creating practical beeswax wraps for food storage and delightful DIY gifts for Mother's and Father's Day.

These hands-on workshops are perfect for all ages and skill levels, providing all the materials needed to bring your creations home. Not only will you walk away with something special, but you’ll also learn about sustainable crafting practices and how to incorporate eco-friendly habits into your everyday life.

Join us in celebrating nature, fostering creativity, and making memories together. Let’s craft with a conscience and make a positive impact on our planet—one workshop at a time!
