New Pick-Up Location: Beehive at Bok in South Philly
We are thrilled to announce that Rutabaga Toy Library members can now select to pick-up their toy borrows at Beehive at Bok in South Philadelphia!
We’ve been hearing from lots of families in different neighborhoods around Philadelphia that they wish they had a toy library near them. Coming all the way over to East Falls to browsing for their toys or pick-up their reservations is a big trip and may not seem practical for some busy families, who’d otherwise love to participate in this progressive way of thinking about their relationship with toys.
(Especially now that the new “Safer at Home” guidelines are in effect for the City of Philadelphia.)
This new pick-up location will provide another option for caregivers take advantage of this unique program. And it’s just the beginning. Our goal is to have pick-up locations throughout the city to serve as many Philadelphia families as possible. Rutabaga is on a mission to re-imagine how our families and children interact with toys. The idea of a “toy store” is changing and we are excited to see more families embrace environmental responsibility. as a way of life.
We hope that this new partnership will open the door for more South Philly families to consider how toy borrowing can reduce the clutter in their home and encourage their child’s imagination and learning in a new way.
How does it work?
Become a Rutabaga Toy Library member
Select pickup at “Beehive at Bok” when reserving your toys
Pick-up your new toys and drop off your returns at Beehive!
Reservations must be submitted by Thursday evening to be available for that weekend’s pickup. Pickup times and information will be send to you!
